RADNI TEČAJ ZA DOKTORE DENTALNE MEDICINE (na engleskom jeziku)
Daily Endo from diagnostic to treatment
Zagreb, petak, 12. 12. 2025.
HRVATSKA AKADEMIJA DENTALNE MEDICINE, Kurelčeva 3

Predavač:
Prof. Philippe Sleiman, DMD, PhD
Whether it is a straightforward root canal treatment or a retreatment, we must select the right sequence of files to use. This raises key questions: Which file system should we choose? Which type of movement is best suited? On what basis do we make these decisions?
What are the metallurgical differences among the various systems?
The session will also include 3D warm vertical condensation, which remains the gold standard for sealing the root canal system.
-
NiTi metallurgy — what you should know and why it matters
-
Limitations and indications of full rotation, reciprocation, and adaptive motion
-
Why file design matters and how it affects clinical outcomes
-
How to manage cystic infections using a novel zero-apicectomy technique
Program
Petak, 12. 12. 2025., Zagreb
• 10.00 – 11.00
Theoretical lecture – The knowledge of NiTi alloys and motions. The structure of the alloy and the science behind each type of motion will be explained during the lecture. We will also cover the use of AI in diagnostics — from 2D X-rays to CBCT — and introduce a new approach, Zero Apicectomy, for managing complex cases.
• 11.00 – 12.00
Practical session – Participants will have the opportunity to practice three different sequences with two types of motion: full rotation and adaptive motion, on a 3D-printed four-root molar. Participants are also welcome to bring their own extracted teeth with access cavities already prepared.
• 12.00 – 12.30 Lunch break
• 12.30 – 14.00
Practical session – 3D obturation using the new Elements system, considered the gold standard in obturation techniques: modified warm vertical condensation. We will conclude with a Q&A session covering all topics discussed.
